This is the story of my daughter Willow, our short time together, and the half light of life without her. Willow was born with a rare and severe heart condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a deformity whereby the left ventricle of the heart fails to develop. With multiple palliative operations Willow lived a short life filled with love and touched everyone who had the honour to meet her.
